Therapists must convey to the patient that their paramount task is to build a relationship together that will itself become the agent of change
— Irvin D. Yalom
I feel lucky to have had the time to try and work through multiple bereavements and feel like we made a lot progress. It was great to have a space to be myself in very dark and hard times. I felt fully supported

Getting started

The quality of the relationship between the therapist and the person they are working with can be the key to the work being successful, so choosing the right therapist is really important.

To help explore if I might be the right therapist for you, I offer all potential clients a free 20 minute consultation where we can start to get to know each other and see how we feel about working together. This is also a chance for you to begin to share what might be bringing you to therapy.

If, after that session, you feel that you would like to work with me, we will arrange a regular time to meet once a week. Each weekly session is 50 minutes.

The period of time someone needs or chooses to have therapy is different for each individual. I offer open ended therapy where I work with clients over time to explore and understand themselves on a deep level. I also offer time limited therapy of around 12 – 24 sessions where people may want to work on a specific issue they are struggling with.

I offer sessions online to anyone in the UK, and face to face in London. I have counselling rooms in Parliament Hill Fields (NW5) and Haggerston (E8). I work with anyone over the age of 16.

The cost per session is £70 (I also have a limited number of concessionary hours for people on low incomes and full-time students).
